Job Summary:
American Equipment HR LLC is seeking a skilled Crane Service Specialist to join our team. As a Crane Service Specialist, you will be responsible for performing on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes.
About the Role:
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns
- Generate sales leads during service calls
- Maintain accurate and detailed service reports
- Travel may be required, with a company-provided work vehicle
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform On-Site Services: Provide timely and efficient on-site services to customers, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations of electric overhead traveling cranes.
- Customer Consultation: Engage with customers to discuss repair and safety-related issues, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Sales and Reporting: Generate sales leads during service calls and maintain accurate and detailed service reports.
- Travel and Logistics: Travel as required, utilizing a company-provided work vehicle for transportation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electro-mechanical maintenance or a related field
- Minimum 2-year hands-on experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory and ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments
