This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Wiring Technician to join our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform wiring and conduit installation
- Install crane electrical components
- Read and interpret schematics from engineering
- Work safely at all times by following safe work procedures
- Use material handling equipment to facilitate wiring
- Travel locally to customer sites for wiring installation assistance
- Wiring/soldering and assembling main and sub-assemblies, including panels
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to run wire and make electrical connections
- Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics
- Knowledge of bending and assembling conduit
- Basic electrical testing knowledge, including the use of meters
- Good fine-motor skills and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow procedures and communicate effectively
Education/Experience:
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program is a plus
- Two-year electrical degree or associates degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Field experience in troubleshooting and installing electrical connections
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with typical work hours and days being Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
