We are looking for a Wiring Technician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform wiring, running of conduit
- Installation of crane electrical components
- Read schematics from engineering
- Read, interpret and work from drawings from controlled documentation and processes
- Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for your position, well as all safety procedures required at your work-site
- Use material handling equipment(overhead cranes and forklifts) to facilitate wiring
- May travel locally and regionally to customer sites to assist with wiring installation
- Wiring/soldering and assembling main and sub-assemblies including panels
Required Skills/Abilities
- The ability to run wire and making electrical connections
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Knowledge to bend and assemble conduit
- Electrical testing knowledge including the use of meters
- Good fine-motor skills and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow procedures and good communication skills
Education/Experience
- Completion of electrical apprenticeship program would be plus
- 2 year electrical degree or associates degree in relevant field would be plus
- Field experience troubleshooting and installing electrical connections
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2;30 p.m.
