General Purpose Of The Job
The Actuary, ALM Analytics, is responsible for serving the actuarial team in design and implementation of an ALM risk reporting platform and dashboard. This position is responsible for the timely reporting of risk metrics and conducting in-depth analyses. The incumbent also contributes to the development of actuarial asset and liability models, ensuring accurate records and validations are maintained.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Leads the development and enhancement of the ALM risk reporting framework.
- Executes monthly and quarterly ALM risk metric model projection runs.
- Ensures the timely and accurate preparation, validation, and delivery of ALM results.
- Create a dynamic and flexible risk metric dashboard to monitor and visualize risk profiles.
- Identifies underlying risk drivers, including market movements, policyholder behavior, and product features.
- Collaborates with Investment and Risk Management teams to enhance the risk reporting process and improve data flow and communication.
- Partners with IT to automate processes for greater efficiency.
- Assists in model development, testing, validation, controls, and documentation.
- Provides guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior actuarial team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education And/Or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible actuarial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with actuarial modeling software such as MG-ALFA or GGY-Axis is required.
- FSA
- Advanced experience with actuarial modeling software, particularly MG-ALFA.
- Strong knowledge of annuity products.
