Rebaler Operator - 2nd Shift

American Excelsior Company is actively seeking a Rebaler Operator to join our 2nd Shift Erosion Control Division (ESD) team. Hours:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3:00am

Compensation/Benefits:

• Starting wage is $17.85 per hour
• $1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate horizontal baler machines and associated waste conveyors
• Sweep and shovel straw waste into horizontal baler through use of waste conveyor
• Tie waste bales
• Package and palletize waste bales
• Dispose of all scrap waste bale materials (string) and other trash into trash dumpster
• Clean/Sweep straw chaff around horizontal baler and waste conveyor area(s)
• Organize string, raw materials, etc.
• Other duties assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Preference for 1 years manufacturing experience and/or operating basic hand tools and equipment preferred
• A Servant Leadership style collaborating with peers
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for up to 10 hour shift
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple multi-step instructions
• Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Dusty and moderately noisy; regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Newly hired individuals must have a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug & Alcohol Test, and Audiogram.
