The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.
Marketing Experience Analytics, part of the Enterprise Business Intelligence at American Express, brings together foundational technologies in the Data & Visualization stack. It delivers Data Assets, Capabilities, Visualization & Insights that power enterprise analytics serving business verticals like MarTech Experiences, US consumer marketing, merchant marketing and more. The group fosters with a culture of full stack engineering that works on Big Data, Cloud and BI platforms to deliver best in class capabilities across American Express.

Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in Java/Python Backend development.
- Strong experience with SQL databases (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience working with SpringBoot applications or similar framework
- Practical experience with implementation of system integration solutions, such as, Microservices, APIs (RESTful, GraphQL)
- Good understanding of modern software engineering practices and tools
- Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Data engineering stack like Big Query, Big Table etc.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with Shell/ Python scripting.
- Understanding of various Software Delivery Lifecycle methodologies particularly SAFe Agile and tools such as Confluence, Rally / Jira.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving ability
