Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position can also be filled by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments
- Order appropriate laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies
- Formulate diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals
- Institute emergency measures and treatment or appropriate stabilization measures i
- Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients/family/ significant others
Qualifications
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified – (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
Salary : $105,000 - $145,000
