Advanced Practice Provider
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at American Family Care in Hickory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive health histories and medical assessments for patients.
- Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies as needed.
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses, and institute therapy or referrals as necessary.
- Analyze patient data to determine patient status and management.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on healthcare and wellness.
Requirements:
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care preferred.
