Job Purpose
This Associate will be responsible for leading white body destruct with reporting and Weldability support for Honda custom WeldFinder application. Management of NDT equipment and report database.
Key Accountabilities
- Schedule Production Yearly and New model destructs including document prep, assign team members, safety and work training, build schedule, E-coat body and destruct work
- Track destruct activity in WeldFinder software, generate reports and maintain document retention records. Development and confirmation of countermeasure completion.
- Maintain destruct tools and inspection measurement gauges to ISO standards
- Complete troubleshooting of WeldFinder software updates in test database environment before launch to production database
- Update spot weld data in WeldFinder including teach sheets, illustrations, and Quality Standard Sheets
- Maintain QSS documents and NDT inspection hardware for all Quality check stations on the production floor
- Schedule collection of NDT station inspection report data for reporting and any compliance issues
- Maintaining spot welder parameters for production equipment
- Engineering duties include PDCA and Why-Why analysis, development of NDT systems, weld quality improvement, apply engineering standards and business plan target achievement.
