Qualifications Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Medical Assistants are preferred but not required. Must be willing to work weekends and evenings if needed. Job Summary Provides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises. Responsibilities will include both Receptionist & Medical Assistant duties
- Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam
- Ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with the approved procedure
- Administer injections
- Draw blood and prepare labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing
- Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions
- Prepare exam rooms; sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation
- Respond to all patient requests
- Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations
- Ensure patient immunizations are well documented and administered in accordance with the approved procedure
- Complete patient registration, run insurance, collect any fees
- Answer phone calls in a timely manner

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
