What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Analyst (Hybrid) position at American Family Insurance?
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Denver, CO 80112.

Position Compensation Range:
$68,000.00 - $113,000.00Pay Rate Type:

- Provide information to leadership/management that will affect profit and growth plan execution on an ongoing basis.
- Develop reports, analysis, or recommended strategies related to product development or enhancement, product language, underwriting guidelines, processes, and agent business practices.
- Analyze information and presents opportunities to improve product or business practices and procedures.
- Monitor effectiveness of current products and recommends changes and/or enhancements to management.
- Analyze information and/or data in support of the formulation and execution of operational plans.
- May specialize in supporting pricing activities related to rate reviews, profit and loss ratio-based reviews, experience rating programs.
- Research philosophies and strategies that support growth and long-term profitability goals.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
- Demonstrated experience with various PC software applications and Microsoft Office products.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance product design and underwriting concepts in area of expertise.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of market research and marketplace trends in insurance coverage.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Prior insurance experience, small commercial, property, or auto insurance preferred.
- Experience with data analysis desired. Knowledge of Looker and/or GCP helpful.
