Reports to: Inside Sales Manager
Summary of Position:
Process orders of live goods; flowering annuals and perennials, handle calls and customer service issues for the selected sales territory.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a designated geographical area of customers and for meeting the sales goals for that area.
- Works collectively with other sales reps and territories.
- Learn the product line in order to assist the customer with product questions.
- Learn our custom software to create orders to best meet the customers’ needs and flow product efficiently off the farm.
- Cheerfully answer calls and help the customer navigate through our product availability.
- Enter phone, fax and e-mail orders into our system.
- Follow up on orders and allocations to ensure the customer receives all the product they are expecting when they expect it.
- Frequent field checks are required to view the available product and plan for future orders.
Qualifications:
- High School degree or higher
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Bilingual – Spanish (plus)
- Plant Knowledge (plus)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
