What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Specialist position at American Fence Company of Minneapolis?
American Fence Company is one of the largest fence contractors in the country, with operations across seven states throughout the Midwest. And we’re looking for an experienced and driven Outside Sales Specialist to join us in our new Minneapolis area branch. We’re interested in high-energy candidates with prior lead generation and sales experience, who can build and maintain a large network of industry professionals within the assigned region, to generate leads for product sales and installation projects.
Responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, and weigh leads online and in-person.
- Develop contacts and build industry relationships to source material sales and installation projects.
- Maintain communication with colleagues to support lead follow-up.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of two years of experience in construction sales, business to business, or other lead generation techniques.
- Demonstrated research ability.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Responsive to changing priorities.
- High order of organization and time-management practices.
- Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions.
- Builds rapport and develops positive working relationships with customers and team members.
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000-$70,000 per year, plus commission
