AmeriFence Corporation of Madison accesses the largest materials inventory in the Midwest — acquiring PVC, ornamental steel, chain link, and wood supplies from stockpiles collectively equating 18 acres. Our materials yard staff serve both company personnel and customers, and we’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Yard Manager to oversee all yard operations, daily inventory management of materials, and to supervise and lead welding and yard personnel.
Responsibilities
- Oversee yard operations and maintain compliance with all safety policies and regulations.
- Ensure materials are properly organized, stored, and accurately inventoried.
- Ensure all company staff and customers are attended to in the yard with courtesy and respect while maintaining safety.
- Review short- and long-term inventory areas as required.
- Review task list daily to ensure smooth yard operations.
- Supervise welding and yard inventory personnel; complete performance evaluations and disciplinary action, as needed.
