What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multimedia Design II position at American Fidelity?
- Conceptualize, plan and create effective and engaging visual solutions in these disciplines: web and social media, video and animated videos, audio, photography, graphic design, and is a keeper of the established American Fidelity Brand.
- Conceptualize, develop initial design and revise various visual communication materials in coordination with communication and marketing plans and projects to enhance and create interactive user experiences for both internal and external audiences.
- Develop and lead multimedia and interactive packages. This will include print, digital, ads, websites traditional, mobile and responsive, apps, marketing materials, brochures, logos, etc. ensuring that all visuals are modern, crisp and best-in-class for customers.
- Demonstrate knowledge, support and implementation of current WCAG standards across digital and print communication solutions related to design (contrast, iconography, font size, interface elements). Coordination with other departments to ensure standards are consistently followed.
- Five to seven years’ experience as an artist in computer graphics, photography, and web design within a corporation, an agency or design firm; equivalent years’ experience in illustration, creative conception, and account service
- Fully proficient on a PC or Mac platform
- Must be able to design within the established brand
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in computer graphic design, extensive knowledge of pre-press production, print production, web design (including responsive, mobile, social, app development), photography and creative conceptualizing
- Superior skills in brainstorming and working with teams
- Ability to interface with home office and sales colleagues
- Fully proficient knowledge in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Fully proficient and advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe XD and Acrobat Professional
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud desktop suite of applications. Extensive knowledge of; Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Lightroom, Audition, Dream Weaver, After Effects, and Dimension.
- Competent PC skills and Microsoft Office products with emphasis on; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Must have basic knowledge of web programming
- Must stay updated with all the advancements taking place in the design world
- Exceptional design abilities - taking a desired user experience and translating it into amazing front end design that accounts for every user interaction
- Experience producing interactive presentations, from concept to producing the final product
- Must be a creative, analytical thinker who can tell a story using all the tools currently available in the industry
- Strong oral and written communication, ability to be a strong communicator and form relationships
- Have strong analysis and interpretation skills
