JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for procuring documents and prepping loan applications for approval. This includes communicating with borrowers, realtors, vendors, and mortgage consultants on the status of loan files.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 4 years RECENT experience as a Loan Processor
- 2 years of knowledge and experience with NON QM Loans
- Experience with reviewing other alternative methods of income
- Experience with DU and LP
- Experience in calculating income
- Experience using Gmail and G Suite
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to take the initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain high-volume residential loan pipeline ensuring timely closings of all loans within established deadlines
- Work with our customers to obtain and review loan documentation and clear underwriting conditions
- Verify borrower credit using employment, assets, rental history, credit reports, and any other alternative methods of income, etc.
- Research and verify account information and resolve problems for customers as needed
- Maintain impeccable legal and ethical conduct
- Understand and use software programs for loan tracking – LOS, AUS systems
- Communicate any concerns on possible misrepresentation or fraudulent documentation/activity to Manager if necessary
- Take initiative when issues arise that involve the successful closing of loans
