Position Overview:

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring the efficient delivery of traffic services and products. This role involves managing a team of staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving growth and profitability within the branch. The Branch Manager will work closely with leadership to implement company policies, maintain high standards of safety, and foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Branch Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficient service delivery and quality control.
  • Manage branch budgets, track performance, and ensure financial targets are met, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures to optimize workflow, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of traffic management products, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant traffic safety regulations, including local, state, and federal requirements.

2. Team Leadership and Staff Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff, including technicians, coordinators, and administrative personnel.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for branch employees.
  • Ensure staff adherence to safety protocols, customer service standards, and quality procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and address any personnel issues as they arise.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Oversee the execution of traffic management projects and services, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Address customer concerns, complaints, and service requests, ensuring satisfaction and effective resolution.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer retention and identify opportunities for new business and market growth.

4. Financial and Administrative Management:

  • Manage branch financial activities, including invoicing, budget preparation, cost control, and profitability analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of branch performance and key metrics to senior management.
  • Oversee administrative functions, including scheduling, billing, and regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, insurance, and safety requirements.

5. Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce safety standards in line with traffic safety regulations and best practices for both field and office staff.
  • Conduct safety audits and ensure the branch maintains high standards of compliance with OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain and enforce environmental policies, ensuring sustainability in operations and services provided.

6. Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify potential business opportunities in the local market and proactively pursue new contracts and clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive marketing and promotional efforts that align with regional goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in traffic services, construction, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, operations, and customer relationships in a service-oriented business.
  • Experience with traffic management products and solutions is highly preferred.

  • Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Solid understanding of traffic management regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software tools.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, with occasional travel to client sites and other company branches.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet customer needs and project deadlines.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • Working 40 hours per week overtime as needed.

Pay: From $67,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
