Collision Center Automotive / Truck Collision Repair Estimator

American Fleet Services is seeking a self-starting, take-charge individual for our growing Collision Center Management Team. This driven individual will be responsible for producing automotive collision repair estimates, establishing relationships, generating orders, and providing unbeatable customer service to new and existing accounts. In addition, this motivated individual will be required to hone his estimating skills towards the medium/heavy duty truck and equipment industry. Estimating work experience in the medium/heavy duty commercial truck industry is a Huge benefit!!

Collision Center Estimator Job Duties:
· Writes professional, accurate and consistent collision repair estimates utilizing CCC One estimating software to include photo app estimating procedures and guidelines
· Accurately documents supplemental damage found during the repair process and prepares supplements to insurance carriers, corporate customers, and fleet management companies.
- Understands the basic parameters of insurance programs, fleet management companies, DRP and non-DRP programs, etc.
- Answers all incoming calls accordingly. Obtains signatures, authorizations, and power of attorney for all repair transactions. Establishes each customer’s method of payment.
- Communicates with each customer on the process of the vehicle repair in a timely and effective manner.
- Formulates and reviews all final invoices, supplements, and vehicles prior to customer contact for delivery.
- Tracks production schedule for his or her vehicles and communicates those targets to customers and other associates.
- Responsible for closing service orders and the collection of Accounts Receivable on all insurance claims, corporate accounts, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess an upbeat, professional attitude. You must have the desire to work as part of a team to reach company objectives and the ambition to succeed and grow with the company. The role demands that you be a self-starter who works work well under minimal supervision after the initial training period.
Additional qualifications include:
- Capable of writing accurate and consistent estimates.
- Medium / Heavy Truck collision estimate writing experience utilizing Mitchell Connect a PLUS
- Prior auto body collision experience with a broad knowledge of vehicles and repair procedures is mandatory!
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are mandatory!
· Must have a Valid driver’s license with no more than two (2) minor driving violations within a three (3) year period; no more than a maximum of four (4) points and must be insurable with our current insurance provider.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Compensation:
This is an hourly based and commissioned opportunity with no limit on earning potential. Our customer base is well established and within a well-groomed territory.
