Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role is crucial in promoting a safe work environment and minimizing risks associated with occupational hazards. The Safety Supervisor will lead training initiatives, conduct safety audits, and collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards and EHS regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for incidents, accidents, or near misses to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide training development for employees on safety practices, emergency response, CPR, first aid, and occupational health.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance metrics, incidents, and compliance status for management review.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure adherence to workers' compensation law.
- Collaborate with management to promote a proactive approach to workplace safety.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a safety supervisory role or similar position within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EHS standards, and occupational health practices.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Experience with training development and delivery related to workplace safety.
- Proficient in report writing with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
