Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented retail sales specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing product visibility and driving sales within our retail environments. Working with our cut flowers and arrangements, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed attractively, stocked and clean within a local wholesale club.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product selections.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with regional management to develop effective merchandising strategies that drive sales.
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions regarding product placement.
- Assist in training new staff on merchandising standards and customer service practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or merchandising is preferred.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising principles is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of basic retail math concepts for inventory management and sales analysis.
- Available mornings and Thursday - Saturday afternoons.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in product presentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $540.00 - $1,042.18 per week
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
