Job Title: Production Associate
Job Summary: A Production Associate is responsible for the safe operation, accurate scaling of product, and proper plating sequence for our high-quality, ready-made frozen meal products.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Works with Production Supervisor to understand and meet daily production goals and quotas.
- Ability to follow directions and work in other areas as needed.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Accurate weight measurements of product and proper sequence of plating.
- Understands and follows all Standard Operating Procedures and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe environment through compliance of all company, local, state and federal mandates or programs.
- Acts with a positive professional attitude and poses a Continuous Improvement mindset.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Maintains Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and superior quality standards.
- Assists with various positions as assigned by the supervisor.
- Flexibility is required. While this position is located in our production facility in Morganton, NC, we are a small team and are often called upon to temporarily support our mission by lending a hand in one of our other facilities (kitchen and fulfillment center - all within close proximity).

Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High School Education or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but not required; food manufacturing is a plus.
- A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
- Strong reading, math, and people skills.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand for 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to work in a loud and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
- Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours, as needed.
- Must be able to read and speak English.
