Overview
Job Summary
The Scale Operator will be responsible for operating scanning equipment to capture and digitize documents, packages, or products. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and quality of scanned materials, managing digital records, and maintaining scanning equipment.
- Get scanner and check battery status
- Scan pallet tag label and scan all boxes on pallet/combos
- Keep accurate log of all combos, orders, trim ratio and blends
- Cleanup area at end of shift

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be able to work in a humid, cold, wet or slippery surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (P.P.E)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment
- Previous heavy machinery experience in manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Be attentive to detail
- Ability to work safely, wear P.P.E, and follow instructions
- Ability to attend work consistently
- Display strong work ethic

Summary
America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.
