Reporting to: Vice President, Western Division
Location: Remote - must reside in either New Mexico or Arizona
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide leadership and management to chapter(s) in assigned market area while working with the Board of Directors and volunteers. Supervise staff and oversee non-event fundraising, Public Education, Advocacy, volunteer development and increasing awareness of the organization through community outreach and collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In conjunction with the Chapter Board of Directors develop and implement annual budget and business plan. Manage all chapter activities through on-going implementation and evaluation of items in business plan and budget.
- Responsible for recruiting and training volunteers to carry out the work of the chapter.
- Ensure chapter produces revenue to cover program and operating expenses.
- Supervise implementation of all AFSP approved programs as outlined in organization’s program priorities booklet. Work with appropriate program staff and volunteers using toolkits to execute impactful programs. Track results and impact.
- Responsible for all public policy activities of the chapter including recruiting Chapter Ambassadors, staffing Public Policy committee, state policy days and other policy activities.
- Primary contact for all PR/Communication activities including emails, chapter website and social media.
- Supervise Fundraising Manager and Programs Manager.
- Responsible for non-event fundraising.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Bachelor’s Degree
Experience and/or Training 5-7 years’ experience in non profit fundraising, program delivery and volunteer management
Licenses/Certificates N/A
Technology/Equipment Experience using general office technology

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Role will be fully remote, work from home unless required to appear in person to deliver programming or for other assigned events or conferences. Travel is required. Must reside in service territory.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Annual salary range: $91,100 - 100,000
22 PTO (vacation, sick, wellness and personal days) your first year of employment (5 additional days 2nd year)
