Description
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Boiler Operator to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility's boilers and other mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain equipment performance to ensure optimal efficiency
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment status
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Read and comprehend work instructions, must be able to write clearly and have a complete understanding of all routings and defined tasks by shop router operation
- State Boiler License
Physical Demands
- The person will regularly be required to use hands & arms with repetitive motion & reach
- Standing and walking consistently during an 8-hour or 10-hour shift in various temperatures. Subjected to excessive heat in plant (up to 100 degrees), particularly in high heat index temperatures
- Employee will regularly be exposed to fumes or airborne particles
