Description
We are searching for a skilled 3rd Shift Maintenance/Boiler Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility's boilers and other mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on boilers and mechanical systems to ensure safety and reliability
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime
- Monitor and maintain equipment performance to ensure optimal efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment status
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Read and comprehend work instructions, must be able to write clearly and have a complete understanding of all routings and defined task by shop router operation
- State Boiler License
Physical demands
- Person will regularly be required to use hands & arms with repetitive motion & reach
- Will move/roll use force up to 75 pounds
- Be able to use step ladders, be able to access high elevation of building safely (ex. roof repairs), ventilation
- Manual dexterity for handling production material
- Standing and walking consistently during an 8-hour or 10-hour shift in various temperatures. Subjected to excessive heat in plant (up to 100 degrees) particularly in high heat index temperatures
- Employee will regularly be exposed to fumes or airborne particles
