Specific Responsibilities And Essential Functions
- Oversee benefits plans including eligibility and benefits enrollment (401(k), medical, dental, and ancillary plans) and promptly address employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Lead and facilitates annual open enrollment and educating employees on the company's total rewards.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on employee benefits utilization, cost trends, and market comparisons to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and managing employee benefit plans, including health, retirement, life, and disability coverage.
- Negotiate contracts with benefit providers, monitor performance, and resolve issues with vendors.
- Develop and deliver clear and concise information regarding benefit plans to employees through presentations, workshops, and online resources.
- Administers the Company’s Wellness programs and activities designed to improve employee health and wellbeing; prepares employee communications with respect to wellbeing programming to provide continuing education
- Keep abreast of current national wellness and wellbeing initiatives and activities, developing a network of resources and contact to use; explores ideas and opportunities to personalize the program to increase management and employee participation
- Recommend changes and/or additions to Wellness initiatives that reflect the changing needs of employees.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits, including COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Investigate and resolve employee benefit claims issues with insurance providers.
- Track benefit costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare budget projections.
- Generate reports on benefit utilization, cost trends, and employee satisfaction levels for management review.
- Provide individual guidance to employees regarding their benefit options and eligibility.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws (including COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA).
- Act as a liaison between employees, the company, and benefit providers, resolving issues with vendors as required.
- Conduct monthly benefit invoicing and HRIS reconciliation and approvals.
- Analyze employee benefits utilization and cost trends to recommend improvements.
- Develop and deliver benefits and payroll information to employees via presentations, workshops, and online resources.
- Use data analysis tools to identify trends and recommend adjustments.
- Oversee audits for 401(k) and workers' compensation.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
- Participate in HR teams and committees.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of benefit administration experience required.
- Payroll and Compensation experience a plus
