Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 Salary
Description
Candidates can be located in the Midwest or Mid-Atlantic Region as this position is 80% travel.
General Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. Responsible for the technical support of PLC based hardware and software, installation, troubleshooting, and training.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate computer systems
- Create electrical schematics
- Confer with technical personnel to prepare designs or operational plans
- Discuss designs or plans with clients
- Maintain electronic equipment
- Direct equipment maintenance or repair activities
- Direct installation activities
- Prepare operational and development reports
- Investigate system, equipment, or product failures
- Estimate technical or resource requirements for development or production projects
- Program PLCs according to customer functional specifications
- Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs
- Program HMIs according to customer specifications
- Travel 70-80% to visit customer sites
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 3-5 years’ experience in the field or in related area
- Familiar with industrial equipment
- 3-5 years’ experience programming PLCs and HMIs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with packaging equipment
- 3-5 years’ experience programming Allen-Bradley and Siemens
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
