What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Technician position at American Fuji Seal?
Perform all job duties associated with the pouch production plant. Operate equipment and use tools to produce pouch products with good quality and with high efficiency. Inspect quality of the material and product using inspection tools. Maintain production area and equipment clean and organized. Pack pouches in efficient manner.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate production equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Record production reports
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect material and product using inspection equipment and tools to evaluate product
- Follow GMP guidelines
- Remove all trash and rework from area to appropriate destination
- Other general duties assigned my management as needed
Required Qualifications:
Ability to multitask
Communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to understand and use basic math
Ability to use simple measurement tools
Work Environment:
Position requires require Reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motion.
Light work, exerting up to 20 lbs of force regularly.
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: visual inspection involving small defects and using measurement devices.
The worker is subject to noise and other machine hazards when on the production floor.
