What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe server position at American Furniture Warehouse?
The Cafe Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food / beverage items from our café to our employees and customers.
The Café Server will also process transactions, monitor inventory, maintain a clean work environment, and notify the AFW management team of any issues that may occur.
$17 / hour!
Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays as business dictates.
- Professional Appearance.
- Knowledge of our company values of accountability, honesty and safety for our employees and customers.
Job Expectations :
- Commitment to AFW’s safety policies and procedures and ability to promote awareness.
- Ability to accurately handle cash.
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- All training provided by AFW.
Physical Requirements :
- Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas.
- Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily.
- Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
Physical Work Environment :
- Fluorescent Lighting.
- Long periods of sitting and standing.
- Concrete Flooring.
