The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Director oversees organizational compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. This individual will be responsible for managing EHS programs, Managers, and Coordinators. Being an Environmental Health, and Safety Director ensures compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to law and regulations that impact the organization.

Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
70,000 to $98,000 annually
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with OSHA compliance and requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety management and / or equivalent education or combination of both.
- Obtained Occupational Health & Safety Professional 132 Certification
- Safety Management Specialist or Certified Safety Professional certifications
- Ability to manage AFW’s environmental, health and safety programs at the project level, driving a safety-oriented approach to work
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- 25% Travel
- Flexible schedule to meet training, development or project deadline requirements
