LOCATION : American Games (CB) and International Gamco (Omaha)
SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday (8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM)
PAY RANGE : Salary (BOE)
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper.
This position will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods and services from external suppliers for American Games and International Gamco, including researching potential vendors, negotiating purchase agreements, ensuring compliance with company standards and managing supplier relationships to optimize cost and quality while meeting business needs; essentially acting as the primary point of contact for purchasing activities within an organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Researching and identifying potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time, and other relevant factors.
- Negotiating contract terms and conditions with suppliers including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and quality standards.
- Generating purchase orders for required goods and services, ensuring accurate specifications and quantities.
- Tracking supplier performance against key metrics like delivery time, quality and cost to identify areas for improvement.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize spending and reduce procurement costs through price negotiations and supplier consolidation.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and communicate supplier information effectively.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with supplier relationships and supply chain disruptions.
- Perform administrative functions associated with purchasing.
- Serves as a liaison between suppliers and personnel who utilize purchased items.
- Other duties as assigned.
