Role Overview
The Photo Producer is responsible for managing samples, coordinating products in the studio, booking models, negotiating rates with agents, and ensuring smooth execution of all photography-related logistics. This role requires someone with strong organizational skills who can manage multiple shoot timelines, budgets, and production needs simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Sample & Product Coordination: Oversee and track product samples for all shoots, ensuring all necessary items are accounted for and prepped.
- Shotlisting & Pre-Production Planning: Collaborate with creative team to develop detailed shot lists for each production, making sure photo samples and creative goals are all accounted for.
- Shoot Logistics: Manage production timelines, schedules, and deliverables for multiple shoots, ensuring seamless execution.
- Talent Booking: Work with agencies to source and book models, negotiate rates, and ensure contracts and usage rights are in place.
- Crew & Vendor Management: Coordinate with photographers, stylists, hair & makeup artists, and other crew members. Secure studio locations, hotels, and transportation when necessary.
- Budget Management: Maintain and track budgets for each shoot, ensuring all costs align with company guidelines. Provide cost breakdowns and reconcile invoices post-production.
- On-Set Coordination: Support shoots by managing call sheets, ensuring on-time arrivals, and overseeing catering and general set logistics.
- Post-Shoot Organization: Work with the creative team to facilitate the delivery of final assets, ensuring smooth post-production workflows.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Communicate with marketing, e-commerce, and creative teams to align on production needs and expectations.
- Office Management & Organization: Maintain an organized production workspace, ensuring all equipment, samples and office supplies are stocked are properly stored and accessible.
Preferred Skills
- Experience assisting on photoshoots.
- Knowledge of social media, including short-form video content and behind-the-scenes storytelling. Ability to post and make stories.
- Comfortable shooting Iphone content.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and budgets simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, especially when working with talent agencies and vendors.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Excel, and production software/tools.
- A proactive problem solver with a “get it done” attitude.
