About the Role
We are seeking an eager to learn Accounting Associate to join our dynamic Finance team in Jericho, NY.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with all accounts receivable/payable matters
- Readily process payments
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Follow up on unapplied cash on accounts
- Actively assist the service teams with billing inquiries and corrections
- Review accounts for collections on a periodic basis
- Run accounts receivable reports, provide insight into collections, and assist with preparing accounts receivable meetings
- Maintain cash deposit and wire/ACH files
- Assist with the close by reconciling accounts receivable general ledger accounts
- Perform special projects as needed
Skills & Experience That Lead to Success:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business or financial related discipline
- Proficient in MS Office, including strong Excel skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
