American Global is a growing, privately held risk advisor and broker for the construction industry. We have several offices throughout the United States and are building our presence internationally with offices in Latin America and London. American Global works with clients on a full range of commercial insurance and surety bond products, as well as providing industry-leading claims advocacy service and other unique risk management solutions.
Position
We are looking for a Summer Intern to join our team. The candidate will start with a general introduction to our culture and business units. Upon completion, they will work directly with our team members by assisting with projects and tasks in our Insurance, Surety and Claims departments as needed. In addition, the candidate should be motivated to learn and willing to assist the team with a variety of daily tasks and responsibilities. This is an entry level internship with an opportunity to learn about our company and the Construction, Insurance & Surety industry further.

Qualifications :
Students applying for this internship must have strong communication and leadership skills. Their major should be either Risk Management in Insurance, General Business, General Studies, or any other related applicable major. The applicant is expected to have strong writing and grammar skills, as well as an interest in the Insurance, Surety or Claims field. Employer is willing to support the student to use their internship to gain academic credit.
