In this role, you will will act as the logistics liaison with internal departments, AG business units, and plants along with logistics services providers.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Broad knowledge of supply chains, general business and financial principals.
- Strong analytical and project management skills as you will act as a tactical import and export expert.
- Understanding of product classifications, US and foreign Customs and their impact on AG import/export business activity.
- Tactical expert facilitating the import and export of AG product and materials. Provides technical, specialized information and direction regarding import and export activity related to US and foreign Customs. Researches and provides information and recommendations regarding product classifications, Customs rulings, penalties and cost avoidance.
- Work with plants, internal departments, business units and vendors to plan, organize, resolve problems, set priorities, identify and implement solutions.
- Provide support to Transportation staff: gather information and develop reports, analyze data and make recommendations, various other duties as assigned by the Manager Import / Export.
- All other duties as assigned.
Preferred Length & Type of Experience:
- Experience working for US Customs or US Customs Broker (1 year)
- Experience working in a related logistics capacity (2 years)
- Deep understanding and ability to interpret US and Canadian Customs regulations
- Good knowledge of the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
- Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
