WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Monitor and control access to the distribution center premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the facility.
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the distribution center, identifying and addressing any suspicious activity promptly.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action to secure the facility and protect assets.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
- Coordinate with other security personnel, management, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid security guard card or willingness to obtain/renew it with the company's support.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security-related fields are a plus.
