Responsibilities:

• Act as a physical presence to ensure safety and security at the facility.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations to maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain vigilance to identify and address disturbances promptly.
• Use tact and judgment to de-escalate and resolve disorderly situations.
• Assist staff with managing hostile, abusive, or disturbed visitors, including those under the influence or mentally unstable.
• Respond to disturbances and escalate issues to law enforcement when necessary.
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas and report any unlawful behavior.
• Prepare detailed reports of incidents, activities, and safety concerns.
• Report incidents and safety hazards to dispatch in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Active Guard Card required.
• Valid Driver's License/Identification required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in de-escalation techniques.

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
