Residential Estimator/ Outside Sales Representative
**Commission Only, willing to train motivated candidates**

American Handiwork Inc. is a national construction brand servicing the Erie area. We are accepting applications for an Estimator/Outside Sales Representative in our Firm to help bid on residential projects. We strive to make AHI a rewarding, exciting place to work. For this job responsibilities include bidding projects, preparing necessary project documents, and representing the company to clients, contractors, and other employees. Familiarity with construction and project management is a must. This position is 75% virtual/25% jobsite based.  

Day in the Life: Estimators are the front face of AHI helping promote our brand and partnering with clients to help them reach their goals. An Estimator will meet with clients, bid projects, compose proposal documents, and communicate project details to contractors & teammates. An Estimator is responsible for knowing all our products and services and helping guide the client to their dream outcome.  

Job duties: 

• Be the front face of AHI, and provide high-quality customer care to all clients; 

• Meet clients in the field to discuss projects, take specs/pictures, and prepare proposal documents communicating with involved parties; 

• Contribute to generating project documents and strategy; 

• Respond to leads; 

• Prepare basic weekly and monthly reports; 

• Understand and promote various company services; 

• Prepare and submit materials list for orders; 

• Assist with maintaining client records with company software; 

• Effectively communicate with supervisor and working crews.   

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma/G.E.D;  

• Driver’s License; 

• 2 years field experience in drywall, electric, framing, plumbing, or remodeling Preferred, will consider trainable applicants;

• 1  years experience in outside sales Preferred; 

• Experience in using a computer and Office Products.
