Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional customer service to nursing home staff, physician office staff, and patients always via phone;
- Enter orders into a specialized computer system;
- Dispatch Radiologic Technologists, EKG technicians as needed
- Track images and results. Alert clients of any positive or critical findings.
- Transmit images and create CD images for referring clinicians.
- Trouble shoot missing, incomplete, and incorrect orders;
- Enter insurance information and ICD10 codes from clinician orders and results.
- Must have the ability to interact effectively and professionally with clients and coworkers always;
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma
- 2-year of customer service experience in healthcare, preferred.
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task daily.
- Knowledge of medical terminology; solid understanding of the importance of critical results.
- Knowledge of Medical insurance and ICD-10 coding.
- Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette skills required.
- Effective verbal and written communications, especially listening skills.
- 10-Key & Alpha Numeric Data Entry, 40 WPM speed and accuracy.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ensure patient privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA are upheld always.
