Position Overview :
American Family Care (AFC) is seeking a Collaborating Physician with at least 3 years of experience to supervise and support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, in compliance with state regulations. Key Responsibilities :
- APP Supervision : Serve as a Collaborative Physician under state-specific regulations and the APP Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct quarterly comprehensive quality reviews of APPs’ patient charts in person, ensuring all care meets the highest standards. Audit forms will be provided and require signatures from both the APP and Collaborating Physician.
- Clinical Oversight : Provide expert guidance and approval on patient care plans, fostering clinical excellence in urgent care.
- Team Collaboration : Actively engage with APPs to ensure compliance with medical practice standards and provide mentorship to enhance their clinical skills.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all care delivery adheres to HIPAA, state laws, and AFC policies.
