About the work environment:
Very Professional. We service the following states: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, and Virginia. Rarely will we get a job outside of these states, but 95% of our work is in the Southeast. We travel in company cars to visit our customers—in a large Sprinter van for installations and a mid-sized SUV for estimates and service calls. We always travel with the company of our service dog, even during overnight stays. The company provides for meals, gas, and hotel costs during travel.
However, we do not always travel. Quite often, we have what we call "office days," where we spend time using our above-basic Windows computer skills, designing loops, answering emails and phone calls, planning for travel days, documenting customer reports, marketing on social media, following up, and always trying to acquire new customers.
Installations need a careful eye to ensure every step is done right, and it is a step-by-step professional installation from the beginning, with the review of the customer's blueprints and the planning for the materials needed. A design for the hearing loop will be generated and laid out exactly as planned to obey the laws of physics and function as intended. We are 100% ADA compliant, 100% ICC code compliant, and 100% IEC conforming. We are harnessing Faraday's Law of Magnetic Flux, which means working on the hands and knees to lay wire and tape. Sometimes, we score concrete, lay wire, and seal it. Handyman hand tool skills are needed. But every time we install a hearing loop driver/amplifier, the heart of the loop whose settings must be adjusted accurately and delicately. Adjusting this instrument and understanding how it works will be taught. Shortly afterward, we consulted with the venue's AV technician to ensure our system worked perfectly with their system.
We will train, so a great work attitude is necessary. However, you will learn an excellent new skill. Your pay will depend on how fast you learn and become competent.
We also love fishing and dogs.

-travel (transportation provided for) shared driving
-work on your hands and knees (protection provided)
-study and review designs
