Job Title: Teller Department: Main Lobby
Job Summary:
To provide exceptional customer service while accurately and efficiently processing financial transactions for customers. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, adhering to bank procedures, and contributing to a positive branch environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and money orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to bank policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building rapport to foster long-term relationships.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of bank products and services to effectively assist customers and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Adhere to all bank security and compliance regulations, including proper cash handling procedures and identification verification.
- Balance cash drawer daily and investigate discrepancies, reporting any irregularities to the supervisor.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation for customer transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain a professional and organized work environment, contributing to a positive branch atmosphere for both customers and colleagues.
- Assist with other branch operations as needed, including opening and closing procedures and general administrative tasks.
- Stay informed about changes in bank policies, procedures, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to customers.
- Proactively identify and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Buy and sell currency and coin to the Federal Reserve.
- Run loose coin for customers
- Responsible for cleaning/maintaining coin machines.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
