Yearbook & Digital Design Teacher, Yearbook Instructor and Marketing Director :
Preference is given to a candidate who holds a degree in marketing or a related field. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Experience working with youth is preferred, preferably in a formal high school setting. A strong understanding of the LDS faith and a willingness to incorporate it into teaching is also required. Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, love of teaching and learning, and a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Successful candidates will also demonstrate high emotional intelligence, strong communication, and willingness to learn.
We are also seeking a candidate with exceptional proficiency in technology, demonstrating a strong ability to leverage technical tools and solutions effectively to enhance productivity and drive innovation. Candidates must also exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Some of the responsibilities for this job include teaching and putting together a high school yearbook, teaching digital design and publishing and assisting with marketing for the school particularly within the school community and on campus. Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor. They should also be willing and able to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission , Honor Code , and Diversity Statement on and off-campus. Position available for January 2025.
