What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Math Teacher position at American Heritage School?
Full-Time Middle School Math Teacher: Candidates should have a minimum of two-years' experience, preferably in a formal middle school setting. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, a love of teaching and learning, and a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills, high energy, experience in preparing and delivering daily lesson plans, experience establishing and communicating clear learning objectives, ability to use a variety of pedagogical methods, and willingness to learn. Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor. They should also be willing and able to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus. Position available for the 2025-26 school year.
