What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Sales Director position at American House Senior Living Communities?
Under the general direction from the Regional Sales Director, with support from the Executive Director, the Community Relations Director assumes overall responsibility for sales and marketing of their community.
The Director serves as an advocate for potential residents, sharing information about the community, conducting tours for prospective residents and their family members, and collaborating with the Executive Director to create a welcoming atmosphere for all residents.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for older adults
- Previous experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in healthcare or service-related settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite of products
- Knowledge of older adult physiology and psychology, as well as caregiver needs
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
- Organizational and time-management expertise
- Initiative, judgment, and leadership abilities
- Problem-solving and logical thinking skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the Leadership team regarding marketing, sales, and occupancy matters
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans
- Manage a successful networking and community outreach program
- Cultivate prospects using sales software
- Maintain census levels at budgeted occupancy or higher
- Monitor and manage the marketing budget
- Set and achieve goals for completed calls, mailings, leads generated, appointments set, presentations, and closings
- Ensure thorough working proficiency in the lead management system
- Build rapport and positive relationships with prospective residents and families
- Maintain model suites in excellent condition
- Assist in planning and implementing training programs, touring, and presentations
- Provide tour and customer service training to staff
- Submit regular reports and meet as directed with the Executive Director
- Oversee new resident move-in process
- Collaborate with other Leadership Team members
- Conduct effective sales meetings
- Make recommendations for budget completion, equipment, and supplies
- Evaluate and ensure adequate supplies and equipment for the Community Relations Department
- Participate in weekly occupancy calls and focus calls
