Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our wellness team as a Resident Assistant. This is an opportunity to provide essential personal assistance and support to our residents, ensuring their highest level of functional independence and psychosocial wellness.
Position Overview : As a Resident Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your role will involve providing companionship, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Offer companionship and build trusting relationships with residents.
- Assist with daily living activities such as ambulation, personal hygiene, and feeding.
- Conduct group or one-on-one activities as requested.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with family members, visitors, and volunteers.
- Report any concerns or changes in residents conditions to the Wellness Director.
- Participate in meetings and trainings to ensure compliance with regulations.
