American Howa Kentucky, Inc. is seeking a full-time Production Team Leader.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Team Leader to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment within manufacturing.

Support and assist Production Supervisor on the production lines to lead team members on safety, production of quality parts to meet or exceed customer requirements, while supporting the policies and standard operating procedures of American Howa Kentucky, Inc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2 years related experience in manufacturing environment
• Must be task-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task with accuracy
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet departmental and team member’s needs
• Ability to work in a team environment
• English is required
• Basic computer skills required

Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and support team members in their roles, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Assist in the assembly line processes, ensuring that all products are fabricated according to specifications.
• Utilize forklift equipment for material handling as needed.
• Collaborate with management to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and operating forklifts is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Requirements:

• Work activities may include lifting up to 50 pounds or more frequently.
• Standing or sitting for extended periods.
• This position will primarily be inside a manufacturing facility, but there may be periods required outside.
• Bending, Stooping, pushing and pulling may be required daily.
• Regular use of and ability to accurately use a tape measure.

3 Open Positions:

1st shift (1) - Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

2nd shift (2) - Monday - Friday - 2:00pm - 10:30pm
