American Implement is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our dealership in Wheeler, Kansas. We are actively seeking dedicated and motivated Ag Diesel Technicians with a passion for the agricultural industry. This position requires efficient troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of various systems of equipment to keep producers up and running to their full potential.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with 45 hours/week. The base hourly wage ranges between $16-40 per hour, DOE. Eligible for overtime and commission. Responsibilities:
Analyze, troubleshoot, and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment. Perform diagnosis and plan effective and efficient repairs of machinery. Prepare reports and forms as required. Follow production schedules and requirements. Participate in service training programs. Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment. Comply with safety rules and regulations. Provide professional service and present a positive company image.
Qualifications:
Three to five years' experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment. John Deere Tech graduate or equivalent experience preferred. Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience in diagnostic equipment use. Ability to operate vehicles and equipment. Computer skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Set of tools to perform equipment repairs and maintenance. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.
