Role Overview :
Could you be our next Agency Commissions Specialist? American Income Life is looking for an experienced Agent Commissions Specialist to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for direct contact with agents and third-party vendors by telephone, teleconferencing, email, fax and written correspondence. Responsibilities include gathering and reporting of information, problem solving, issuing payments, evaluating various agent reports, processing and reviewing general ledger journal entries, and providing quality customer service in a timely manner.
This is a hybrid position located in Waco, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do :
- Perform various duties with a high degree of accuracy. Duties include but are not limited to data entry, reporting, review and payment of agent commissions, accounting entries, and auditing of agent accounts.
- Must review agent account balances and make independent decisions to execute balance transfers and / or pay commissions from agent accounts.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries pertaining to agent compensation, agent debit balances, and agent earnings.
- Must effectively communicate with current agents, former agents, third parties, and internal company team members on matters involving agent balances, payment of commissions, and earnings reporting.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining current documentation of assigned tasks and desk procedures.
- Documentation must be easily accessible and transferable to other team members. Must respond quickly to incoming phone calls as a part of a shared phone group.
- Meet company and department deadlines on daily, weekly, and monthly tasks assigned to the role and efficiently handle distribution to appropriate parties.

One year experience in Agency Accounting Specialist position (LG8) This position is eligible for Senior Agency Accounting Specialist position (LG11) upon completion of the following criteria :
One year experience in the Agency Accounting Specialist II position (LG10) and successful completion of LOMA281, LOMA291 and LOMA302 - OR - three years' experience in Agency Accounting Specialist II position (LG8).
This position is eligible for Senior Agency Accounting Specialist position (LG12) upon completion of the following criteria :
One year experience in the Agency Accounting Specialist II position (LG11) and successful completion of LOMA ALMI Designation - OR - three years' experience in Agency Accounting Specialist II position (LG11).
