Job Summary
Provide a primary roll in supporting reporting efforts across the organization, with a focus on gathering and reconciling data, analyzing trends, and help guide business decisions. This role will have the responsibility for developing period financial reports and various ad hoc analysis, which will assist company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Key attributes of a successful candidate will include strong intellectual curiosity and an ability to understand the big picture, while remaining focused on the details.
Job Duties
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Investigate and analyze variances between actual and plan monthly for assigned functional areas.
- Assist in annual budget preparation and regularly monitor budget adherence, identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to predict future financial performance and support business decisions.
- Prepare and evolve, as appropriate, templates and presentations for weekly, monthly, and annual reporting.
- Collaborate with the accounting / GL team to ensure revenue and expenses are properly recorded.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the company's financial health and performance.
